One-bedroom buildings of 5, 9 and 12 storeys. The 5 and 9 storey buildings are made of panels, while the 12 storey buildings are made of panels and bricks. Typically, the five-storey houses have a single staircase, with 20 apartments per floor and a corridor running the length of the building. Nine-storey houses have only 8 apartments per floor, separated into two separate corridors, plus an elevator, and even two elevators in 12-storey houses. Most of the low-rise buildings in the project use variations of the 104 and 119 series. All apartments have a combined bathroom and toilet. The apartments have loggias. The small-family projects are mainly built in Plavnieki, Purvciems, Ziepniekkalns, Ķengarags, Āgenskalns and Jugla.
Pros:
o Lower average running costs of apartments.
o Lower apartment prices compared to other similar series.
o Compact layout of the apartments, but large square footage compared to other series of one-bedroom apartments.
o Large loggias along the entire length of the apartment, which can be converted into verandas by glazing.
Disadvantages:
o Problems with sound insulation.
o Problems with thermal insulation and waterproofing.
o Only one-room apartments.
o Bathroom and toilet combined.
o Long shared corridors.
